Payment Information
If you subscribe to our Pro plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers.
We receive and store limited information from Stripe to manage your subscription, including:
- Your Stripe customer ID
- Subscription status and billing interval
- Current billing period dates
- The last four digits of your payment method (for display purposes only)

Securing Your Information
We have in place security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your information is encrypted when it is sent and received over the internet using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and we use AES 256 encryption when storing your information.
Although we have in place security measures to maintain the privacy and integrity of your information, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information and task data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:
- Active accounts: Your tasks, boards, and account information are retained indefinitely while your account remains active, regardless of whether you are on a free or Pro plan.
- Archived tasks: Archived tasks are retained indefinitely as part of your task history and are accessible through the History feature.
- Account deletion: If you request account deletion, your data will be retained for 14 days to allow for account recovery. After this period, all personal data, including tasks, boards, categories, and account information, will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Subscription cancellation: Cancelling your Pro subscription does not delete your data. Your account reverts to the free plan and all existing data is preserved.
- Inactive accounts: We may delete accounts that have been inactive for more than 1 year.
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or that we hold about you. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at hello@taskspace.app
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information, or to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.
If you are located in the European Union, you also have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that we have not complied with applicable laws and regulations regarding the protection of your personal information.
International Users
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.
European Users: If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and the right to data portability.
